I normally don't ask such pop-culturey questions. But, I was looking at the list of GG noms, and I could not BELIEVE that he wasn't nominated for his role in Little Miss Sunshine. Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for a role in which he did a very poor British accent, but Carell wasn't nominated for a very challenging role that was well played.
Thoughts?
P.S. I'm not just doing this because I'm a Carell fan--I'm actually generally indifferent on him, since I don't like most of his movies.

That was the BEST MOVIE EVER it made me laugh from the first to the last line.
Hollywood it's who you know not how well you act.

Idiot. Leo wasn't doing a British accent. His charactar was from Zimbabwe and he did an incredible job. I do agree with u though that Steve Carell should have been nominated for a globe probably best supporting actor in a comedy or musical.

I love Steve Carell too, but lots of really good actors never get nominated or win. I think LMS was too much of an offbeat movie that no one wanted it to win anything. I loved it.
