Munich Olympics -- Mark Spitz won seven gold medals, US basketball team was robbed by a referee's mistake in a loss to Soviets, and 11 Israeli athletes and coaches were murdered by Palestinian terrorists....

Sapporo Winter Olympics -- don't really know what happened there.

A's win the World Series ... Dolphins complete a perfect season by winning the Super Bowl ... Boston Bruins win Stanley Cup ...

Some horse won the Kentucky Derby ... can't think of anything else.
