I'd be surprised at first because it wouldn't be the norm. But then again Muslims are just ordinary people not very different from Christians, unless of course they are extremely extremist. If they love each other I'd be happy for them. Religion shouldn't be an obstacle, if he's a nice person and he's going to take good care of her, then why worry?
I hope this helps.

I don't intend to have children, but if I did and my daughter was lucky enough to find a loving, supportive, wonderful man who she felt she could spend the rest of her life with (who happened to be Muslim), I couldn't be happier. I might feel concerned about her converting to his religion (due to the restrictions it might put on her lifestyle), and where she may decide to live her life - specifically if his home country was not where she was brought up; but a person is blessed with children, not the other way around. Your children should live their lives for themselves and not for the parents that gave them life - decisions are made by the child from the beginning and they should never feel constrained in any way.

i dont have a daughter. but i guess i would feel worried that she was going to be converted and changed the values that i instilled in her brain. and then id go and talk to her and ask her what was going to change. how drastically and when. then i would at least be informed of everything that i could be.

I'd be happy for her, though I'm not a big fan of marriage.
