My last period was on november 2 and I am late now. I took a couple preg test which came back neg. At first I was experienceing headaches, feeling sick, and abdominal pain but then it went away. I recently went to the doctor for a check up which went good, but she told me to come back next month for another test. Now I dont understand why she wont give me a blood test if thats the most accurate. But anyway, last night I was feeling a little stomache pain then I woke up this morning with a brown discharge. is that normal? I seen this a couple days ago but other then that I never seen that in my whole life. What do you think am I pregnant and if there was apossibility that I was could I be having a miscarriage or something?

Sometimes a brown discharge is just old blood. When blood is fresh it is birght red and as it get older it gets darker. It is possible that you could just be out of sync. Are you trying to get pregnant? Get your physician to check out your thyroid levels. This was my problem. Hormones are very tricky.

Many late periods in women are actually miscarriages. There is no way to tell usually, and most have no idea. The brownish blood is probably old blood, maybe it's the start of something. Take the blood test next month. I was 3 mos pregnant with my daughter and urine tests were still coming back negative, even through planned parenthood. But don't forget, increased physical activity and stress can cause late periods

don't trust random people... it's better to ask a doctor...

if you don't like that person... see a different one....

how long ago did you "recently" see the doctor... yes, there can be a delay before a test would reveal positive if you were pregnant... don't worry.... you will know soon... go to the drug store and pick up an e.p.t. test if you want...

the symptoms you described can be for many things... most not serious or pregnancy...

yes, it is possible you could be having a miscarriage... these happen all the time and most people never know... don't worry... or you could be spotting... or on your period... periods can do funky things when you are stressed... or just out of the blue really...

don't worry.... go see the doc again... or a different doc... or go to the drug store...

Find another Dr & have a blood pregnancy test. Also try another urine test as they are very accurate if you are late any time after your period is due. The brown discharge sounds more like an unusual period.
