You can't. Nothing is 100% safe and secure. You can just do the best you can with the resources you have available. There are too many variables in life, that an individual can't control, for our worlds to be 100% secure.

Sorry to say but you can't make them 100% safe and secure.
You can reduce risks, practice safety and take precautions against danger but you simply cannot torment yourself trying to guard your loved ones all the time against all bad things.
Get your children fingerprinted, check your fire alarms, discuss emergency exits and meeting places and find a safe neighbor where your kids can seek shelter in an emergency. Include your husband in all of the plans and enjoy life. If you are worried about their safety all of the time you and they won't have any time to live.

There is no 100 percent---you have to keep your guard upall the time---as soon as you ease off BAM something can happen. Make sure all members of the family are clear as to what is expected of them---calling on the phone and communicating movements, respect for each other and privacy. Know where and when and who--if you don't know--you need to find out. And handle any issues immediately--

You can't :-( There can always be accidents, always be violence from the outside, always be fires... those things happen.
Fortunately you can do a lot to reduce risks... use safe (electrical) equipment, install smoke alarm, use good locks, teach your children about safety in any way like fire safety, teaching them how to behave in traffic, how to behave towards strangers.... just to name a few things.

There is sadly no such thing as 100% safe and secure.

Depends what you mean too, smoke alarms, carbon-monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, burglar alarms, etc all play apart.

She can not..
She can work on it and do her best which is usually good enough
and all that can be expected of her..
She can not protect her family from random chance accidents,
disease and misfortune.
