I don't know what you would call the job, but my wife orders supplies for the dentist office she works in by calling an 800 number. The person answering the 800 number is a lady who works from her home. She takes the order and processes it through her computer to the company's shipping department and the supplies are shipped.

Try an internet search for internet jobs, or work at home jobs. That should help you out.

My newborn was looked after a woman who just decided to stay home with her 1 year old. So if your wife wants to look after 1-2 more kids, I'm sure she could make money at it. Just be aware that she must make all terms understood up front....if someone is depending on her (like a daycare situation), she needs to be available. Or consider babysitting in general - less need to be reliable on a long-term basis.

Sell stuff on eBay. Seriously. Have her go garage sale-ing, and sometimes you can find a real gem to sell on eBay. Same goes for old stuff you don't want.
