Increase her feeds & offer her food & the breast more often. If your baby is happy, has her normal appetite & has normal wet nappies, then chances are that she is fine & you have nothing to worry about. Also if you weighed her on different scales then there may be a difference. If your baby has changed & is more unsettled or unhappy then you need to get her assessed by a health professional. Otherwise relax & weigh her again in a week or so. Your baby is in a healthy weight range & is gaining weight so you are doing a fantastic job with her

Remember that all babies when they reach the sixth month tend to decrease the weight gain average...if you're feeding her with breast milk, maybe you should check if you're are producing enough to satisfy her...if not, try to include some ounces of formula, but first talk to your pediatrician, he/she is the only one who can tell you if your baby is gaining or not enough weight.
aNotice that as long as she is healthy, growing and learning she doesn't need to be chubby, in the future, many metabolic problems can happen if you let your baby be too fat now.
Your baby maybe the perfect weight for her age...what did your pediatrician say about the weight???
My baby is a premature boy and was at first very low weight, but after coming home he began gainig weight fast and now is consistent at 50 percetile, healthy for a baby born at 27 wk + 5 days!

Your baby maybe the perfect weight for her age. She is sitting close to the 50 percentile line on the growth chart. But it is the weight of your child over time and not a one point in time that indicates whether or not your child has any problems.
As long as babies stay consistent in their development, ie in their growth percentile, they are considered thriving. Doctors are alarmed if a baby born on the 50th percentile suddenly jumps to the 97th percentile or slips to the 10th percentile.
Therefore, check what your baby was at birth if she was on the 50th percentile (approximately 3.5kgs) at that time then she is developing perfectly and you don't need to change a thing that you are doing. If that is not the case then seek medical advice immediately before you alter her diet.
Hope this helps.

Why do you want a chubby baby if you keep overfeeding her this will lead to obesity problems later in life Just make sure you dont cut back her breastmilk because she is eating solids.

as long as she is healthy and growing and learning she doesn't need to be chubby. Some babies aren't very chubby. Your doing fine just by breast feeding her, that's the best most high caloric food for her now.

Your baby sounds perfectly healthy. my little girl is 9months old and only just over 6kgs, she is crawling and starting to stand. Your girl sounds as though she is doing all the right things. Please don't force her as you may be setting her up for future obesity problems.
