I would give up everything for my husband and children. I would not even give it a second thought.

Spiritual enlightenment. I'm a Buddhist. But morally speaking, it would be wrong, because that's not what you do to achieve Enlightenment, anyway, if you meant people under the "everything", that would mean martyring others for personal gain, which is utterly AGAINST what any religion preaches, which would make this enlightenment null and void immediately, now wouldn't it?

I'd be willing to give up yahoo answers. Please someone, tell me this is a sin, or bad for the environment, or unpatriotic, I think I'm addicted.
Seriously, I'd give up brussels sprouts. And I'd give up shouting at annoying kids, if only I could get used to those stupid eyebrow rings.
I'd like to give up my temper, to make those around me happy.
give up everything for? see, the moment I loose something for that, I'll loose it and realize it was more important. Why do you have to give anything up?

i gave birth to my son alone when i was just 16 .and in a since that was like giving up every thing even your life as you would have expected it to be.grown now with no regrets

I cud give up nethin for my parents n siblings...i love them more than anythin in dis world...even if its my life...i wud happily give it up........cos i cant ever measure their position in my life....
