You need to add more memory if it always says it's low. With out partitioning the drive and loosing data, you can compress the drive and make another drive like that. Compressing can be risky, it can make the drive unstable, the drive should be in good shape before you start compression though. It can sometimes double your space also, depending on how much free space is left. Better to buy a slave drive and more memory.

You can use the Microsoft Windows XP Setup program or the Fdisk and Format tools to partition and format System and startup partitions. For additional information about how to use Fdisk and Format to partition and format your hard disk, visit http://fixit.in/transferdata.html

u need more ram installed. 128mb is extremely low by todays standards. is best if u have a gig of ram. find out what type of ram it takes, sdram or ddr type, and install 2 512mb ram stick.
to make another 'drive' u need to make another partition, but it isnt worth it. years ago i tried to do this on another computer. all it did was fill the drive up even faster. get another hard drive, their easy to install.

Go to www.crucial.com and scan your computer or lookup your computer model and # and find out what kind of memory your computer takes. Then try to find atleast 512mb more to go in it. Either 2*256mb sticks or 1 -*512mb stick. THis will help the mose with the speeding it up and the virtually memory....Your size of your hdd or partitions of the hdd have nothing to do with your virtually memory size....Thanks

Try using Partition Magic. You will have to format tho. Just a fair warning.
