A well dressed man walks up to a beautiful woman in a bar and ask if she'd go to bed with him for one night for a million pounds.

She looks at him, smiles and says, yes OK.

He sips his drink, smiles and asks if she'd go to bed with him for one night for 100 pounds.

Of course not, she replies, what do you think I am?

He smiles back and answers, we both know what you are, we're just haggling over the price.

I've worked for nearly 30 years, been made redundant more times than I care to remember, I've never claimed any form of benefits, seen my taxes increase year on year, my mortgage soar because men in suits play the markets and have less disposable income than ever before.

I doubt I'll earn a million pounds throughout my entire working life, and the thing that I've come to realise is that neither the government I elect or the law I am obliged to follow works for me.
If you're a petty criminal you'll get punished, but the bigger criminal you are and the more money you have the better scumbags you can employ to use the law or bribe governments to protect you.

Do I agree with it - No. Can I change it - No.

If I got to keep it after the jail time would I give up 10 years of freedom and steal 10 million - why not.
I, like most other people, have made a prison for myself by buying into the idea of having and owning things that I don't really need so in reality doing 10 years for theft only means that somebody else is locking the door where I live, rather than myself.

Freedom is an illusion, we buy our own shackles and unknowingly lock ourselves into them.

I'd find a job and go to work. It might not be the easiest or fastest way, but it would be the safest and most rewarding. Acquiring money by committing immoral, or illegal acts is only for scumbags.

Look man. Cash is king and you have to understand that to make laws, you gotta be justified in your willingness to break laws.
