The best way to do this would be to start out with a blog. As simple as this may sound, you will learn the foudamentals of HTML. You can customize your blog anyway you want and it lets people provide feed back and comments. I reccomend blooger from http://blogger.com

Once you setup your blog, you can view the source code. If you are using IE you can goto view then source. you will see lots of information on the screen. This is HTML. Modify it and learn from it. Have fun with it. Soon, you will be a pro at HTML!

Cheers!

Hey. There are loads of ways to set up a free website, from automatic sites where you just input the words you want to sites where you can do all the coding and they will host it for free. Here are some of the best:

If you don't really want to design a place, join Blogger. I love their interface. Easy to use too!

But, you can also use Google Pages. They give you a free address and have a drag and drop for their web site design so your site will look how you want it!

Yahoo! Geocities has Yahoo! Pagebuilder which works decent as long as you don't go overboard with too many things on one page. Easy to use though.

Go go go!
