I don't know if Naim Tawina is still alive. So let me tell this story which I read on the 17.8.1990, on pages 11-13 of the "7 Days" supplement of the Israeli newspaper, "Yediot Aharonot": In 1972 after 42 days Tawina spent in prison, Saddam Hussein-who was then Iraq's deputy President-paid a visit to that prison. A secret cop and a guard accompanied him, and that secret cop pushed a lightning cigarette into an eye of an inmate while shouting: "you are a traitor". Then the cop asked the guard: "who is this", while pointing at Tawina. "A Zionist Jew" replied the guard. But then Saddam said: "I know this man. He is a good man. Don't touch him! Let him free!". And Tawina was released. After a while Tawina realized that the little child Tawina used to buy cigarettes from and let him keep the change for himself grew and became the famous Saddam Hussein.

I formed an online friendship that lasted for slightly more than six months while this soldier was in the Gulf War. We sent each other things via international mail, (which in itself was a nightmare considering the restrictions due to Saddams people's attempts at mailbombing). When New Year's rolled around, we kept each other company online at midnight, (his time).
I still remember the four days I couldn't reach him, only to find out later that his camp had been bombed. There were very few injuries, but one shell had fallen between his tent and the next one. Thank God he got out in time. Well, he returned home to his family and I put the Gulf War in the past like a lot of us have, but I'll always remember the message he sent me, thanking me for helping him through each day. Let's pray all wars cease in 2007.

Me, Saddam,GWB, and Uday went clubbing in downtown Baghdad back in 78. George and Uday were snorting coke off a male prostitutes a*s as Saddam and I looked on laughing our heads off. We did some beer bongs and then jumped in the Tigres river naked on a dare. The party would have gone on longer, but GHWB ruined everything when he came and told George he had to go home. Me and Saddam and Uday took a piss on a US diplomats car parked outside the go go bar we were at, and almost got into a fight over who was gonna drive who home. Needless to say, I drove and the rest is history.
