I remember hearing the suggestion of having all female juries for rape trials in Britain a while ago, in a desperate attempt to increase the number of rape convictions.

Do you support this idea, or believe that it will result in many men being wrongly found guilty?

I'm not convinced that all female juries would result in more convictions. Many women are in total denial about rape and the culture's general hatred of women. Like many people, they cope with stress and danger by insisting on simplistic solutions (if she didn't wear tight jeans or walk alone or get intoxicated at a bar, she wouldn't have been raped), rather than deal with the scary larger picture (this world is a dangerous place for women of all ages, and that although it's best you not get drunk for any number of reasons, you cannot guarantee your personal safety by being a "good girl.") In male-dominated cultures, women often take on the role of being more super judgemental and controlling of each other than men. So I'm not convinced it would work.

The idea of having a jury is to be judged by your peers. That would eliminate that long standing tradition. Laws would have to be rewritten and will never happen as it is prejudicial.
