During the day if it is cool I like to open the doors & windows to let the fresh air into the house. But when it starts getting dark I want everything closed and locked for safety.

All the time, there has to be one window ajar even when its cold. In summer the terrace door is open.

No. I live in an apartment. Scary isht happens here. Locked at all times! Besides it's winter now.... brrrrrr.

As far as the house in concerned, only when Michigan weather permits me to do so.
As far as vehicles, I ride a bike and drive a rag-top Jeep...what do you think?
