I've hit a dead end trying to answer this question. Sorry, it was already dead when I arrived. Maybe I killed it?

yes my career as an international supermodel started to come to a dead end when that upstart Kate Moss nicked my position in the limelight. I watched that dead-end build up as she nicked my boyfriend Johnny Depp and then Pete Doherty, nicked my Rimmel contracts and everything else.
So my glamorous career came to a dead end.
Which is why I am on Yahoo answers during the day, and not strutting the catwalk of a glamorous couture house !!

You must mean like a dead end job and a dead end future combined in a dying setting. Now I am starting to feel clinically depressed. Please shoot me in the head while I am sleeping.

S'mae twm.

Your question is so vague that it needs more of an explaination underneath so we can give it proper consideration. If you do that I shall edit this and give another reply.
