None of you remember the infamous
"Headless body in topless bar"
headline ?
This time it was the New York Post

Dead At The Apollo
instead of
Live At The Apollo.
You get it ?

I've just downloaded, and am currently listening to, a Tribute to James (may he Rest in Peace), and I've looked carefully at what angle may be applicable here - as I'm prone to enjoying a giggle - but I can't see any funny side to this one. Not even looking at it from an obtuse angle.
So, nope - not funny.
But here's a link to a legit and legal download of James Brown's work from the 1950's, but be warned, it's from a radio station and contains dialogue from the dj between tracks - and what Classic tracks. What a man:)))

Sadly it wasn't very funny at all. However there is nothing that can be done about it. Next time they may be referring to a member of your or my family...still...there will be nothing we can do. They are a law unto themselves and the PCC is a waste of time.

Can't stand James Brown but still don't think it's funny.

No, because it's true. Though he didn't die there, his body was there as a kind of 'lying in state' for his fans to pay tribute.
