And if not, where do we fit?

Looks like people always talk only about gay, hetero and bi, never about asexuals. It's as if we didn't exist.

People not interested in having sex with anyone. Some have become asexual, some have always been that way.

There are three main types: those who don't feel any form of romantic or sexual attraction; those who do feel romantic attraction but are not into touching or sex at all; those who feel attraction and like touching, but not sex.

I can feel an attraction but I'm not into touching, so I'm the second type I guess. I've always been asexual.

It can be a problem because we live in a highly sexualized culture. Society can make you feel out of place and "wrong", as if something were not "normal" with you.

The "Spectrum" of secual orientation is open to all - even to those who have no active orientation to speak of.

There have been questions on Asexuality here, before. Merry meet.

It is up to the person to decide for himself, since a self-identified asexual person could be either gay or straight.

Of course, some transgender persons self-identify as straight, and they are openly accepted by the rest of the GLBT community, so it's likely that just about anyone with a diverse identity would find an inclusive welcome under the 'rainbow umbrella.'

Your uniqueness and different perspective could only make us kinder and wiser and stronger, after all.

I'm bi but I don't like the whole idea of the "GLBT" spectrum. Sexuality shouldn't matter, and shouldn't be grouped as heterosexuals, and everyone else.

you don't have any sexual problems, so you don't need a group. Get a problem, then find a group.
