Gmail has a facility to use its 2+GB space as a harddrive, i.e. u can save ur files to the GDrive and access them from any where on the Internet. But even here there is a limitations. This works like an attachment. Though you can view the GDrive as a HardDrive on ur computer, It can only have files with Size <=10MB, So this might not tbe the best way to send ur Movie Files.

I would Prefer using RapidShare or any FileSharing utility on the Web, Upload them and ur friend will be able to download them. Even here you will not have the chance to upload the whole 2GB File in a single piece, you will have to split it to the maximum allowed size of the File Sharing Service ( I think its ~250MB for rapid share). Anyway it would be even harder for you to upload 2GB in a single go. So compress and slice it into pieces using WinZip or WinRaR, then upload it to a File Sharing service.
You may even consider reducing the Quality ( thereby Size) of the Video by changing into a DivX or some other compressed movie format and then uploading it.

To send a photo in e-mail Open My Pictures, and then open the folder containing the photo you want to send in e-mail. Click the photo you want to send. Under File and Folder Tasks, click E-mail this file. In the Send Pictures via E-mail dialog box, click Make all my pictures smaller. Windows makes a smaller photo file and attaches it to an e-mail message that displays a default subject and text message. In the To box, type the e-mail address of the person to receive the picture, change the subject and message text if you want, and then click Send. Notes To open My Pictures, click Start, and then click My Pictures. Use this procedure for photos of file size greater than 64 kilobytes (KB). To check the file size of your photo, right-click the file, click Properties, and look at Size. To send the photo without reducing the size of the file, click Keep the original sizes. To change the settings for the size of the image, click Show more options.

Most e-mail servers have a limit on the size of an attachment, probably 10mb. Best to save it to a DVD then snail mail it.

Yah u can send it first extract all CD to ur hard disk, change *.dat to *.mpeg file. den, go to Windows Movie Maker. Copy all ur movie and change its output file size to 9MB (b'coz u can send only upto 10MB attachment) and save it and send it to ur friend. So, its easy. If u r computer genius like who have answered you dat u can't..... den nothing can happen.... but if not, U can use Ulead Video Studio to make it Real Media which will more decrease ur file size. Wat dis famous site like India Fm do, they do the same....

NO, 2GB in mail means up to 2 gigabytes of mail can handle your accounts not up to 2GB of files you can send. its better to write it in CD by DVD format then mail it instead of send it by e-mail.
