It is quite possible only if India generates more and more electronic items of good quality and if it gives more attention to improve the quality of products which are in demand abroad. Populationwise we are growing! but we may also grow economically compete with China..
India needs to generate more of technology
U are right about the present economic reforms - that needs to be changed to achieve the economics goals of India.
It is not a matter of believing in something, but to believe we can do it!
Indians do not lack in hardwork and perseverance, we are capable of achieving anything in this world

the basic requirement is promotion of the differents fields that help to increase the economic growth of our country.
This does sound abstract i know but it is the truth,
we need to make policies and implement them on war-level that could work!
Indian people who excel in technology are invited abroad by the advanced nations - why does this happen?

Why do Indians go abroad?
WE have to get answers for this,, the excellent brains and skills and technology are draining out of our country, why?
If u know this , and if we could stop this drainage and use these human resources and give appropriate appreciation, then i surely think that India can compete with any advanced country on this earth.
The fact is we need to recognise them, use them, their knowledge, skill, ability - to the best and also give them appropriate rewards so that they are tempted to work inour country and not use their ability for others.

is this a prophecy? India would overtake china as quickest turning out to be economic gadget. yet, what to do with corruption in india. until, corruption would be eradicated, India can't strengthen. Even at present we've a good GDP boost yet what's occurring? nonetheless crores of human beings are below poverty point. the entire gadget is rusted. i'm not confident if it is going to help a typical guy. this guy advised that india would have 50 states. do not you think of this is something silly. additionally, a inhabitants of a million.5 billion. i think of we would have greater problems in 2020, if those form of politicians would be in capacity in 2020. this is barely a fairy tale not the rest.

both india and china are competing. every country will have positive and negative points. negative points are to be converted into positive. economic reforms are yielding results and it has to reach common man in indian society. then only the purpose of reforms will be successful. both india and china are trying their level best to utilize resources. ultimately the euphoria of people is more important. in that respect both are competing to give their level best and both the countries are trying help each other. hence i cant say it is overtaking. each country is trying to utilize its resources to register healthy growth rate.

YES
democracy is slow, but far more stable than communism
we need not be afraid of a recession in the US, as we don't export much there, we r a more domestic-led economy, and that makes us stable
India should overtake china in terms of growth by 2020, and i don't think there's any looking back after that
