I hate Marmite but love New Year.

I love marmite but I dislike New Year

I love marmite but I have a love/hate relationship with new year.
I have had amazing new years eves when I've been in a good job/relationship, have best friends around me and, know where I'm going in life and am happy with myself. I've had crap times where I've been a long way away from the people I really care about and don't feel as though I have much to celebrate.
In my opinion, you can't just ignore new year. People ask what your plans are for several weeks before new year, and ask what you did afterwards. Whether you like it or not, new year is one of those times when you are forced to evaluate yourself (and are evaluated by other people) and I reckon there are very few people who can be completely indifferent to that...

I love marmite and for me New Year is about changes I can make and I find that it's really positive.
My New Year this year is beginning with me buying my first car as I just passed my driving test. Which was also the 1st attempt.

Hate Marmite, and New Year is overrated, just another boring day and new years eve all that biuld up for the sake of a few minutes at midnight can't see what all the fuss is about.

I've never actually tasted Marmite so I don't know about that.
I despise new year though, because on new year's eve 1999 I was told that my father was going to die, he then died on the 4th January 2000.

Marmite is satan's invention, New Year is OK (depends where I am)
