i heard it been very good for the economy, but they say there losing the culture and the younger generation(16-32) is becoming westernized

visible are
1decrease in price of electronic goods
2increase in employment opportunities
3many food processing industries have entered in India egg coca cola

invisible changes are
1for trade no bilateral agreements are needed due to which international trade has increased.
2foreign technology is easily available
3it has led privatisation of industries
4liberalisation has increased

other economies impact's are crucial as our industries have tough fight with foreign industries which have better technology.in some years to come India's traditional industries will be drained by cheap and better foreign industries.

globalisation ,though has helped India to extend her market to foreign countries,but is not beneficiary to India. this is because the foreign countries have now got an opportunity to control the domestic market .many of the companies in India are not able to compete with the foreign market due to inefficiency of machine as well as labour and thus are facing closure .so the pace of development of Indian economy is rather obstructed.

the impact of globalization in india is immense. previously indian companies never gave importance to quality. now they have realised the impact of quality and trying to manufacture quality products. indian companies are competing with international companies. indian companies are converting into global companies. india's population explosion is being converted into indian human assets. indian experts are second to none and competing with others. information technology bio-technology paved the path for development. stock markets are healthy. international companies are evincing keen interest in indian markets and in fact findin indian markets as attractive marketing hubs. economic, political,business environment is conducive to start new industries in india. all this shows that the impact of liberalization, privatization leads to globalization. several sectors such as insurance, retail, manufacturing service, infastructure sector are growing. it is indicated that grwth rate may touch 10 percent this year. all this optimisic view indicates the impact of globalization.

Four pillars of globalization namely technology change, creation of global economy, increasing commonality of political institutions, values and ideas. Each one of these seriously affect landmass, island states, and surrounding warm waters.

The globalisation of the food system is destroying the diversity of local food cultures and local food economies.

Patents and intellectual property rights are supposed to prevent piracy. Instead they are becoming the instruments of pirating the common traditional knowledge from the poor of the Third World and making it the exclusive "property" of western scientists and corporations.
