My boss is a pain in the jaxy and is making us stay our full shift until 5pm. Bummer.

12.30, need to be home by 1 to drive to bristol airport and go on hols for new year!!!!

My shop was open until 2pm. I bought my staff pizza, everyone hung around and chatted til 3pm and left. I had to stay until 5pm to get some things done before next week's onslaught. Just another day in the fantastic life of a bookstore manager

There are alot of places closed today but mine isn't one of them. We have full shifts (I work til 5:30, others work til 9:00 pm) but it's going to be boring so I have a stack of books with me for the slow times. Hey, we are getting paid for sitting there so I don't mind. Some people are taking end of year vacation time so they don't lose the time off. I am just so happy to have a job.

Well about 12 noon today, it could be 11:30 but an extra 30 minutes couldn't hurt...it's okay u guys, we're blessed to even have jobs. Alot of people are going out this year w/out whether from disability or terminations. So if u have to stay late, be glad and be grateful. I know I am.
