I have made a dr's appointment and breast cancer runs in my family my grandma died from breast cancer and my mom has had several lumps removed from her breast their is a lump directly under my breast when you lift it up under there. I am very concerned about this and worried what should i expect a mamogram antibiotics what else please try and be kind and give me some support here my breast is very warm and you cant hardly touch it like it has fever in it or something.

Weird question, but are you pregnant or did you recently have a baby? If so, it is just a clogged milk duct. If not, then you really need to see your doc because it could be an infection, but it could also be cancer. Sorry.

Good on you for making an appointment with the doctor- it's something you need to do.
No one over the internet can tell you if it is cancer or not and they shouldn't even try.
As for the mammogram- that depends on your age. If you're over 50 then you'll have a mammogram, if you're young (like in your 20's) then an ultrasound is the better option. This is because the breast tissue in younger women is more dense than in older women.
Don't be scared- breast cancer is very treatable these days :)

It would be best to go see your doctor with your symptoms plus the history of breast cancer in the family. It is very difficult to diagnose someone without seeing them and getting a complete history and physical. Plus you should always do a breast self exam to check for lumps. The most important thing is that you recognosed that there is a problem and that you're going to do something about it. Good luck to you!

A blocked duct could be what it is, baby or no baby, but I would wait until you see your doc before worrying too much, it could be anything, cyst, a spot (on the inside and yes it does happen). Try not to worry too much and if you do need to have a mamogram dont panic, a mamogram doesn't automatically mean the big "C". Its just a way to check things out. try to enjoy what is left of the Xmas season and take care of yourself.

you could also have a breast infection, not cancer...sometimes, there is bacteria that enters though the nipple..and can cause a terrible infection, thus the warmth and pain...good that you are going in to rule out anything more serious. Good luck darling, Pray all goes well for you.

You may have a breast infection. I'd reccomend the doctor immediately. Hope you're okay. My family has has it a few times too.
