I can't stop biting my nailz!!!!!! Help!!!?

No matter how hard i try i can't stop biting my nails! Do u know any techniques or methods that can help???? If u do, tell me!!! Thanx! xxx

try soaking your nails in something really stinky/ gross, that way when you go to bite them, the smell will repel your urge!

They sell a product that looks like clear nailpolish, which you paint on your nails, but when you put your nails in your mouth, it tastes very bitter. This is supposed to remind you not to bite your nails.

You can also use perfume or a scented lotion on your fingers.

Or, if you want to invest some money into this, get acrylics, gel nails, or silk wraps. They're nearly impossible to bite!

Do you have anything precious you would not want to lose? If so, ask someone to keep taking it away every time you bite your nails. I used to bite my nails, but my friend kept taking precious things off me everytime I bit them, and I eventually stopped. I think this should work. If it does, in no time you will have nice, long nails!

Well Kitty, what got me to stop was attention from other people, my siblings started noticing my habbit and started asking me not to do it but the catch was that they did it in public and well It worked, I even stopped doing it in my home becuase i became aware of my habit,

P.s i only bit my nails off and never swalloed them.

Put Tabasco on your nails. Or removed the seeds from very hot chili peppers with your bare hands. (this is what worked for me, one bite was the last!)

Make a paste of raw bitter gourd and rub it on you finger. Or put a scotch tape on some of the fingernails.

Dip them or paint on Tabasco sauce or use nasty tasting lotion continuously.
