I hope so. I'd hate to see him get hurt. He's a hall of famer for sure and he needs to walk away healthy. It would be a different story if the Packers were a contender but they're not. Brett has nothing to prove to anyone. He will be regarded as one of the five greatest QB's in history.

No i don't think he will retire this year. Brett just broke Dan Marino's record of career completions (5000) Marino was 4967. He is extremly close to breaking career passing attempts, career touch down passes and career wins as a starting QB. I believe being so close, he has at least another year in him.
