What is the best laptop for home photo editing and word processing.?

Dell or HP? Pros and cons Please help. I can't make up my mind and looking to buy asap

Now you know you can't beet a Dell. I personally have both desktop and laptop for a few years now and have had a few thing but dell stud-by there deals and took care of it.

Dell is a better choice if I were you.
But Dell's batteries explode (see news stories about that)..
Check if your laptop battery is in the RECALL list before buying.
