Ok first, I've had an iPod Nano before. It was recently stolen, so I was pretty bummed. So then my friend Josh gave me his old iPod today for a kinda Christmas gift. He said there are still some of his songs on it, so I thought No Problem, I'll Just Take Them Off. So when I plugged it into my computer to upload my songs onto it, it came up as 'joshs iPod' So now I'm wondering on how to just delete his whole music library and upload my library to the iPod.?
Thanks

Hi
this is easy.
1. First connect your ipod to the computer and open itunes.
2. Then click on the song you dont want and they will be highlighted in dark blue.
3. then press delete and then say yes when the deletion pannel comes up.
4. The songs will get deleted!!

Do the following-
1. Connect your ipod to the computer and open up your ipods library.
2. Pick the song that you want to delete. Once that is done that song will get highlighted in dark blue.
3. Say yes to the deletion panel that comes up.
4. The song is now deleted.

When you plug in and it's updating you can click "reset" (or something like that) and they will all disappear and it will be like it was when it left the factory. You can even re-name it. I had to do that to mine when it froze.(My computer had a bug and it infected it.)
