sure, yet not immediately. a pair of issues that would - would - impact throughput - fragementation - in case you have, or HAVE HAD, countless information over a quantity of time, those information - as they're deleted and re-created - would tend to create "holes" of unallocated sectors. while the filesystem ("laptop") tries to examine a report, it might "hop over" those holes to attain the added ends of the report. Run a defrag software for this. actual region - in case you have lots of records on your disc, then many information will of course lie on the a tactics end of the disc. It takes longer for the readwrite head(s) on the disc to return and forth to those information than it does to return and forth to the information that are closest to the pinnacle reset place. Neither of those issues impacts "laptop sspeed" in line with se - your cpu chip is working basically as speedy because it did in the previous. yet, if the cpu has to anticipate the disc to hop around a hollow, or return and forth a the kind you may get a report, then it may "seem" that the laptop is slowing down. And lower back, those issues (and others not mentioned) may well be ameliorated in super degree via such report equipment artifacts as caching and/or examine forward.
