I am interested in buying an mp3 player that I can listen to the podcasts I enjoy on it without spending what it takes to buy an ipod. Does anybody have any suggestions? I am not interested in video/picture capability. Just listening. Voice recording is a plus!!! Thanks for your imput.

You can use I-tunes with most players. But I have found it is easier to download through itunes then add to my library in with windows media player and then sync the podcast from there.

I have a Zune, which is seriously anti-itunes, but I can still upload my podcasts onto it easily. I highly suggest a Zune or iRiver if you aren't looking for an iPod product.

do no longer purchase iPods, particularly Nano's they suck. Mine broke and so I threw it on the wall stomped on it and took a leak on it. Piece of crap. purchase a stable MP3 participant like Zune, or Camnex, they are somewhat solid
