It won't solve anything,actually it might make things worst...Saddam will definitely be seen as a martyr judged and killed by the American occupant...and his supporters will try to revenge his death... which will lead to even more violence and more death...

It won't do anything. There are few hard core Saddamists that will be upset - but most people will be slightly glad he's dead. People are most worried about getting blown up then whether their former dictator hangs, fries or gets gassed.
