I thnk the US knows exactly where he is, and carefully guarding him so he can't get away. They don't want to publicly capture him, as then it would be very difficult for Dubya to continue to justify a presence of the millitary in the mid-east.

Osama is still hiding, and regretful that he will never live a normal life again. He has to be ultra-careful because the US military has drones, remote-operated crafts that fly around looking for him, and they have high firepower. As well, the US military also has thermal imaging, so they can see him and his convoy at night if it moves. So, he has to stay well-hidden, like a prisoner in a cave. He is regretful of his "campaign," but too stubborn to say it. That's why his group has tried to create open talks with the US. I would never suggest that his death would be a martyr, unless he turns himself in. A martyr is basically someone who chooses to die for their faith, refusing to renounce it. Osama doesn't have that option.

The bush family is in business with his father. In the construction business. They have been for a long time. Think about it, if you were going to kill your business partners son, how long do you think that business relationship would last. Just remember, after 9/11 all airspace was closed. The only flight that was allowed, was the family of Osama to fly out of Here....think about it. Plus, the last chance we had to get him was in a place in Pakistan, but he was talking with the prince of Saudi, and we were making a 4billion dollar weapons deal with the king, if we killed his prince son, while trying to get osama, the deal would have been put off, so the arms were sold, and we missed our chance. Now the Saudi King just sold 2 billion of those arms to Pakistan, who do you think bought those weapons?

He's in a safehouse provided by Pakistan and the U.S. The war on terror would grind to a halt if they actually went after him. They know where he's at. Bush will announce the news at the next inauguration.

The last place any one would look is the moon. Thats where Id hide. He's either there or playing golf with the president. They will find him one day, either dead or alive. He is a public figure and one day some one he trusts will turn and give him up, or he will be randomly discovered.

Two questions in one? The important question is what would they do IF they found him. The guy has severe chronic medical problems anyway. If they executed him or even just imprisoned him, he would become a martyr. His capture would create more problems than it would solve.
