Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is an emotional, fast-moving book of true stories. As the back cover reveals, "The teen years are one of the most difficult periods of your life, while at the same time one of the funniest. You are dealing with so many changes that sometimes you don't know which end is up." Teenagers can relate to and learn from the 101 real-life stories.
Many topics are covered, including relationships with the opposite sex, friendships, family problems, suicide, eating disorders, rape, and drug addiction. Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul has stories written by people of all ages: A.J. Langer, Bill Cosby, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennie Garth, and many more.
One of my favorite stories is about a girl who moves away from her hometown. Her best friend feels that she has lost everything and has no one to talk to, and is about to do something crazy ...
Another one of my personal favorites is a story about a brother and sister. The sister is in the hospital for a brain tumor and the brother sticks by her every minute of every day. The author finds that "most people have an inspiration in their life. Maybe it is a talk with someone you respect or an experience." This book will become a friend to you; it will understand your feelings, will always be there when you need it, will make you feel better when you are sad, and will not pass judgment on your views..

If the guy's truly no longer a reader, I doubt he will make investments his time in this. i'm a 19 twelve months old woman and that i would not decide on it besides the certainty that I study lots. i do no longer think of many adult adult males might like the poultry Soup books and it variety of sounds like i'm able to easily think of 40-twelve months-old women individuals interpreting it. i'm no longer asserting that's a foul study, i've got study the 1st 2 for the Teenage Soul books, yet I actual can locate greater effective books to study or issues to do than study them.

I am not a fan of reading, but I have read Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul many times. It is interesting, moving and inspiring. It is not outdated fiction from faraway lands but current stories about the struggles teenagers face. The authors urge readers to focus on stories which interest and affect them at the moment. The stories are encouraging and a source of comfort. The authors also feel "... these stories will show one that no matter how different your situation may seem ... you are not alone." This feeling of closeness appeals to me and my friends.

I found them quite boring, but that's probably because I'm a male. It's just a book full of stories with things you can learn from. The content is fine, but the writing is dull. Sorry if this sounds ignorant...
