I have a female friend who claims to be gay yet she uses dildo's and strap-on with her partners. I find it ironic women claiming to be gay but use strap-ons and dildos for pleasure or with female partners. Is this not "in a sense” the same as the real deal? Am I the only one confused here?

just try and step out of the box, if you love a "person" you do whatever you can to please them, becuase you love them, where is the confusion. gender is just a state of mind, i have a friend considering a sex change and i encourage her all the way, whatever helps her be on the outside what she is inside, so be it, just remember love doesn't choose a gender

Clearly you are a man who thinks that your penis is all that matters in life. Ok, let me clear up your confusion. First of all, gay or striaght, all women have the same shape of vagina. It is meant to be penetrated, with a penis or some semblence there of. We still enjoy the feeling, its the man we dont enjoy. For me, a women is soft and clean, not hairy, not smelly, not rough. I enjoy a strap on from time to time, that is far from the real deal as u say. We pleasure each other in many other ways believe me. Alot of men dont get that as they dont think that they can please a woman any other way. Your friend is gay, whether she likes a dildo or not.
The same thing applys to gay men. They like the feeling of something tight around the penis, as that is the way it was made.
Do you think that its ironic they have anal sex?

Hmmm..ok a womans body is made a certain way and a mans body is made a certain way aswell..the female body responds to certain stimuli and just so happens that being penetrated is one of them..now don't mistake the fact that women need a man to get what stimus they need..my g/f has been with men and now knows that a man is not what she wants..her body responds to my touch and my penetrating her..it is the act and the person doing the act that means more to her than just the fact that it is a dildo or strap on..and besides I can change the size of my d!ck to accomodate her needs without having to change partners..all I do it pull off and stick another on.. I doubt any man has that luxury..he is basically stuck with one..whereas I can go long, short, thick, thin, black, white,brown...need I say more?..

I've answered this question so many times I could type it in my sleep. It keeps getting shorter and more to the point because people just don't seem to get it!

Repeat after me: Being a lesbian has nothing to do with whether or not you like penetration. Being a lesbian has nothing to do with whether or not youl ike penetration.

A woman with a strap-on is NOT the same thing as a man, right? (The answer is "Right!".). Therefore a lesbian would never like a man, but that doesn't mean she gives up liking the feeling of being penetrated. But she still likes women and doesn't like men.

Got it? There's no such thing as a 'real deal' lesbianism- if you like women, you are either bisexual or a lesbian, believe me. Some of them don't like penetration and wouldn't be caught dead with a dildo or strap-on; others like it.

Hope you understand.

I am a lesbian, never had sex with a man, never want to either. It feels wrong.Men are my mates, Would you put or have put a penis in your male buddies? ( I'm gussing not) But alot of guys like to be penetrated up the bottom don't they? Are they gay ? not necessarily.Fingers, dildos, and other objects, just like girls, it feels good, and just like you ( i'm guessing ) you dont want a penis in any of your orafaces. Well thats exactly how I feel.

I am gay and my partner does use toys on me. I love the pleasure it gives me FROM HER. If it was a guy I would be getting sick or feeling violated. It is not the same as a penis. The shape might be the same to you but it is not the same to us. It is not like she has a penis, she just has another way to pleasure me.

i personally dont believe so. you can lack attraction to a man, but still enjoy the penetration...it just so happens that the typical form of penetration is by dildo, because well, there just arent that many products out there that give penetration that arent shaped like a d***.

I think a penis is disgusting. But penetration, well that is an other story. I just don't like men, but women. And I think that is for the most lesbians the same story

Using these devices leads to sexual pleasure, plain and simple, and why should they restrict themselves from these items if for the only reason that it represents the male genetalia.

How do you think they will enjoy if they are not penetrated on. There must be penetration for one to enjoy and that's why they use those artificial things. I wish we have some around here i could have bought long time ago and enjoy myself but not with another woman but by myself.
