No not really ...... it's not a race, is it ... but sometimes it happens that I am the first and only answer and I think 'OH Gawd' ......... I am the only one with an opinion!'
The secret of all of this Yahoo Answers is to really want to help someone else and be informative and creative and fill in with helpful knowledge, opinions and advice. Of course some people will use this as a platform to muck around ... even be abusive ..... that is life and we have to accept it. But hey, have some fun as well ... life is simply too short ......

Not I Pom. I check in when I am taking a break, up early or late, or simply have nothing else I want to do more. I am often toward the last to respond.

No... I look out for questions that I can answer quickly and efficiently, so I often end up first because I was quick to compose the answer. Duh.
