Ah that is soo sweet. It is either a love gift, which should treasure and keep or he wanted you to throw it in the bin for him coz it was past its best and he didn't fancy the walk to the bin. If he is a a famous person, or might become famous, don't throw it away it might be worth a few bob one day.
