It depends on what you want.
On desktops, the bigger the better (LCD screens are better)
On Laptops, it depends on you want a small and lightweight ultraportable (small screen) or a monster desktop replacement (bigger, the better).


Look at response time when buying for a monitor (16ms-standard
8ms-fast 4msdown-very fast)


I have an 17" LCD monitor for my desktop while a 13.3" monitor for my laptop.

my screensize is a 19" dell ultrasharp flat panel its awesome i highly recommend it although i dont recommend dell computers they suck build your own you'll save money
