I bought my daughter a creative zen 30gb for christmas, I have tried to load the software on to the computer and it says it is not compatable with windows xp, I also get another warning that says I am pluging a high speed device into a low speed USB and might need to change my USB. It will not charge up. Has anyone any idea what I can do to get round this problem???

Any help would be appreciated.

creative players are compatible with xp but you must have xp with service pack2, check your system if you have this installed , if not you may need to download service pack two from microsoft. also you must have windows media player 10 or above installed. The zen is also compatible with a host of other free music software such as media monkey and musicmatch, you can use these programs to sync music with your player.most computer sold recently have high speed usb 2.0, if your computer is fairly old this may be a problem becuase of the slow transfer rate, you can install a usb /pci card to your computer or get a technician to get done for you. as for charging
you can buy a generic psp ac charger and use it to charge you vision:m (i assume this is the player you have) ,it will charge your player much faster (2 hours) than the the usb option (5 hours)

Dnload the software from the creative website and use your mp3 player with windows media player 11 (available free from the microsoft website) and use mp3 player with windows media player, you get far better results and the tramsfer of music from pc to mp3 player is very fast and very easy to do.if you get the problems connecting you mp3 player to your pc,try using a usb at the back of your pc if you have some.there should be no problem with your usb ports if everything you connect to your pc works fine.

Why does it count no count if that's warm or no longer? shouldn't you in basic terms prefer a effective, reliable, stable storage means, mp3 participant? Or are you in basic terms an extremely shallow person who needs to have the latest element in any different case human beings will comprehend which you're someone?

Hi, I too had problems with the supplied software.
Since then I installed NOTMAD software, which is far superior to the offering from Creative.

Hope this helps.
