that starting next week they will have what they call the "Smackdown Sprint." The "Sprint" is a time stipulated match which means that each week they will have a "Smackdown! Sprint" match and the wrestler who wins the shortest match gets to vs the champion in the main event at Royal Rumble.

Teddy Long's announcement is that starting next SmackDown there will be a series of sprint matches (similar to beat the clock). The superstar with the fastest winning time will go to face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship Royal Rumble on January 29th 2006
