i asked a question earlier " Who here wants to join the revolution to bring Yahoo!anwsers down form within? ", sorta as a joke and the almighty Yahoo!answers moderator promptly deleted it. Was it really that threatening?, is Y!A afraid of me?

Apparently they are, indeed, afraid.

Here's another way to look at it: replace Yahoo!answers with United States and see what happens when you post the question.

Because it's just text, there's no emotional content to the message except when you specifically state an emotion. The moderator has no idea if you're serious or not. The general idea is safe, not sorry.

I'm willing to bet that he knew you were joking, but probably violated some arbitrary rule about asking people to join a revolution or something.

Your title doesn't seems like joking, though.

For me I think it's threatening.
