A friend of mine went to one of the websites and entered in her date of birth, currrent health staus and a whole bunch of other simple questions it asked, the death meter predicted her death 2 weeks from yesterday and she has been freaked out every since. She is a healthy, 28 year old mother of 2 small kids, and she is really scared by this grim prediction. I tried to tell her it was just something some one created for entertainment purposes, but she is still worried sick... Should she be? And how often does it give soemone 2 weeeks to live?

All I can say about that is: No matter how innacurate and stupid and silly that might seem, she will worry. I remember when i watched "The Ring", a coupld years ago, and coincidentally, right after it finished, my cell rang, an unknown number.. I didn´t even had the guts to pick it up, and I was just SURE I was gonna die in 7 days.. On the 7th day, I was ready to tell buhbye to the world.. Obviously, I didn´t die. And the whole time, i did know it was stupid: A ghost of a dead girl coming to kill me... but I was afradi anyway..
The truth is, people are naturally afraid of death... if someone says you´re gonna die, no matter how nonsense it is, you are gonna worry. it´s part of the human beings...
Chances are, your friend IS NOT going to die... But you know, sometimes, the perspective of dying makes us realize a lot of things we didn´t before, think of how we are leading our lives, out mistakes, what we haven´t experienced yet (I didn´t actually think all that, but I have read and watched tv and movies a lot) -- so, maybe it´ll bring your friend to a better life..
It would be hypocritial me telling not to worry, so, i wish your friend all the luck.. please, will you keep us updated?? Some people do obcess with those things *blushes*

Those sites are 100% inaccurate, and if someone does happen to die on the day that the site predicts then it's pure coincidence. Tell your friend that she has nothing to worry about. I did one and it told me that I was going to die in 5 weeks. That was 1 year and a half ago. LoL So tell her to not worry.

Why don't you do it and see what it tells you. If it says something similar you know it's a gimmick. Either way you would get some serious friend points. Honestly, how could something like that have any accuracy though? You could step outside tomorrow and get hit by a truck...
Don't worry about life, Live it! It's too damn short no matter how you look at it.

Those things are not correct at all. I put in my grandmother's information and it said that she dies a few years ago (she is still alive). I also put in my deceased uncle's information and it said that he still has a years to live. Don't worry.
