Dont judge a book by its cover - is what ive always believed in
Personality definately ..
A person can be sooo gorgeous/good looking on the outside and be an utter waste of space (nasty person) on the inside
then think, would you want to associate with such a person?
then again, some people can be beautiful & have a great personality ..

In reality, beauty is really only an external property. No matter what people say, beauty can only be judged by physical appearance. Of course beauty is only a psychological illusion, meaning it is not real. No one is "beautiful" nor is anyone "ugly". Beauty is defined as such because the concept or definition of beauty is inexistent and varies from person to person so a solid and concrete definition has not been made so there cannot be an element under the classification of "beautiful".
And as everyone knows and a very known cliche, physical appearance is not important. What matters is the beliefs and personalities of a person.

After a long time the sweetest inside gets really old when every day u are waking up to the same thing, so yes it begins with whats on the outside first, this is what attracts u to the other person, then of course whats on the inside, but at first its the outside and what appeals to u, if u have the outer beauty, u have the whole world at your feet to choose from, remember can u
wake up next to this person for the rest of your life? The people
who say its whats on the inside is full of it on the out side counts greatly, thats why all the cheating going today! men are visual creaters and u can be nice inside, but they will always look at those that have the outer beauty too!

People can have beauty on the outside but their heart may be dark. Meaning they have a bad personality. On the other hand you could have a realy ugly person but the beauty radiates out from with in their heart and soul. These people have what i call true beauty as I believe it is what lies beneath the surface that matters the most.

This is a good question. I have meet many people that I though were just average looking and then once I get to know them and find out how wonderful they are, they do become more attractive to me. I think , of course there is physical beauty, we all can see it. But to look beyond and realize the person that is inside is much more beautiful than a beauty queen. Goodness and kindness show through all the way to the surface. Many people don't see this and just look at people superficially, many men are bad at it too, they look a a female and if they like what they see, they give them a chance.

A person that has the beauty on the outside with a matching beauty from the inside are very rare. If you meet one, that person will have an impact in your life.

I truly believe it is in the eyes of the beholder. I think the best thing about beauty is it is up to you what you want it to be...it can be your personality or your looks or it could be a mix of both. Either way every person in the world is beautiful in their own ways. Sometimes you just have to look for it.

The look is what we intially see. The heart shows the true beauty but most people don't take the time to see that

Outside beauty attracts first, but as time goes by and one sees no beauty on the inside, the first appearance no longer matters.
No one wants to be around someone who is mean and spiteful no matter how beautiful the face is.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Some people think it is in the looks but looks can fade, so I much rather it be in the good things that people do for each other.
