You can block website using the content tab on the internet properties window. Open an internet explorer page, click on tools on the menu bar and then click on internet options. Then choose the content tab and you need to click on enable under the content advisor. You can type the address of the website you want to block and then choose "never". You can also specify a password to the content advisor so that no body else can modify the settings.
