For the past few days, I have been having a lot of thick, white cervical mucus. We're TTC, and between these few days is when implantation would have occurred. (If it will.)
I'm wondering, could the thick white cervical mucus be due to implantation?
*I can't take a test until Jan. 3rd because that's when my period is due*

Thanks!

I know that I don't have an STD of any kind. I've been with my fiance for 4 years, and he's the only person I've slept with. And I'm the only one he's slept with. Also, I just had my annual on Dec. 4th.

I don't have any itching, burning, or a scent of any kind. Just a discharge.
Thank you for all of your answers!

Actually I can't speak for most anyone else, but when I first conceived my baby, not only was there thick white cervical mucus (like egg whites), but there was a lot of it.

However since most early pregnancy symptoms often mirror normal menstrual cycle symptoms, it's always best to wait for a positive pregnancy test to confirm.

Good Luck!

Thick white CM can be a pregnancy symptom. It can also happen just before your period, though. I'm sure you can tell the difference between it and the discharge from a yeast infection. the smell, for one thing, would be a good clue.

With both of my pregnancies, I felt a sharp pain on one side of my lower abdomen, just for a few seconds, and then had a bit of bleeding, on the day my period should have started. I've always figured that sharp pain was the actual implantation.

Some discharge is expected during ovulation, i am not sure if it happens during implantation, but if you re ttc i 'll be praying its a positive for you, you can expect some spotting or cramping though because of implantation, also sometimes you can bet a million dollars that the period is coming cos the symptoms may be similar during implantation, all the best ...!!

If you've been having alot of sex around the time you've been having the thick white mucus it might just be his sperm comming out, if your not having any itching or burning or smell it probably isn't anything to worry about so just wait a few days to see what happens.

It actually could be that you are ovulating now instead of what FF says. I have noticed discrepancies with FF at times because of the variables that affect your temperature. I would actually BD now, or tonight if possible, to cover bases. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for asking that question. My period is due Jan 3rd as well, and I have been having the same CM you describe. I haven't tested yet either. Good luck to you!

honestly sounds more like a yeast infection or something of that nature... get some monostat the kind u put inside you that should clear it up...... its not normal to get a discharge when you get pregnant so i doubt that it is from that wether you might be pregnant or not.. it honestly really sounds like a yeast infection.. .hope this helps and good luck conceiving if that is what you are trying for!!
