Chinese counterfeiters are EXTREMELY good at what they do. I guess there is no real way to tell. But the fact that you purchased the bag in Chinatown for only $50 is not a very good sign--especially if it is a large bag. Large Coach bags run for $100+ retail. Unless you bought the bag in a sterile white store and the cashier was dressed all in black with a white shirt underneath some black sweater, the odds are that you (like me) have purchased a fake bag. If no one says that it is fake for a week, congratulations.

I forgot to add--if it smells weird (and doesn't smell like good leather if it is a leather bag), it is probably fake. Real Coach leather is renowned for improving with age. If it begins to fall apart relatively quickly, it is probably counterfeit.

The only difference on a knock off bag is the price, the quality are the same and the Chinese have perfected these knock off bag so no one will know the difference. I was in China a year ago and bought a lot of them myself: Cartier, Burberry, Chanel, Christian Dior, Prad, Loui Vitton, and Versacci

a lot of fakes are extremely nicely made lately. for sure, there are affordably made fakes also. listed decrease than are some information i stumbled on on coach luggage: the ideal thanks to inform is with the help of searching on the seams... the authentic coach would have the "C's" line up almost completely on the seams... the FAKES will be way off !!! there is under no circumstances a row of unmarried C's, they continually seem as a pair of C's dirt luggage should be darkish chocolate-colour brown, with a pink drawstring... and the words "coach EST. 1941" in white the interior serial quantity might want firstly "No" (abbreviation for quantity) and characteristic 4 numbers after the sprint (not 3) The paragraph above the serial quantity should be in English & in all capital letters on the picture tag, the note "coach" should be raised, not imprinted coach makes use of ykk zippers... verify the markings on the zippers desire this facilitates!

Sometimes the letters are backwards on fake bags, they also use cheaper materials, and the stiches on the bags may be different from the real deal :)

Hope this helps :)

You can get your very own designer bag from http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/6809f . Gucci, Ferragamo, Prada, Or Dolce & Gabbana , choose any one of those and you will recieve them for free. All you have to do is fill out the survey. My girlfriend got her bag from that site and all she had to do was choose the bag she wanted and enter in her email address.

Well, simply put, a knock off is any item that trys to imitate, and pass itself off as something it isn't. That is a knock off.
