Hi, My name is Jessica. I am 15 years of age, And I have been interested in getting my CCNA for the past two in a half years now. I have searched online, and purchased the Cisco book recommended for studying my CCNA , But I am having difficulty in understanding some of the training & concepts in the book. I am trying to find an online program or an online training course to help me better comprehend the networking field. I'm mainly having trouble in the Virtual LANs ( VLANS ) area. If anyone has any words of wisdom, Or any suggestions at all.... I would personally love to read them & would greatly appreciate them!!!!!!!!!

I signed up for CCNA + CCNP last time. When i finished my CCNA training in a training center, my trainer advised me not to take my CCNA exams so fast. In fact he asked me to carry on with my CCNP training first.

CCNA covers the most basic of networking like routing protocols, switches and others.

CCNP has 4 modules.
Building Scalable Cisco Network v2.0 (BSCI).
Building Cisco Multilayer Switching Networks v2.0 (BCMSN)
Building Cisco Remote Access Network v2.0 (BCRAN)
Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting v5.0 (CIT)

After i completed BSCI and BCMSN, i have a firm grasped of Routing protocol and switching (VLANS). So i managed to pass CCNA exams with much ease.

Hope these helps
