The second Robin - Jason Todd. The Joker (him again!) murdered him just after the poor kid had been reunited with his mother. It was, at the time, a fairly shocking storyline. Equally shocking is the fact that it was what the fans wanted. Jason just wasn't as well liked as his predecessor. Anyway, get 'Batman: A Death In The Family' If you want to know how it came about. It's a good read, with a Superman cameo.

yes, the second robin (or third if you count the golden age dick grayson separately from the silver age one), jason todd... there was a 900 number you could call to vote on whether or not he survived the 3 installment of 'a death in the family'... no one ever liked him...

but he has recently resurfaced in the comics as (i think) the red hood (the joker's original identity), grown up and vigilante bordering on criminal...

Yep, it was Robin "Jason Todd" who got the axe *or the bomb thanks to the Joker* after the vote.

It was the Jason Todd version.
A welcome change in costume too.
But the Joker didn't kill the pipsqueek, it was the internal injuries from the bomb. ssss pffft hee hah ahaha hahaha hoooheeee haaa

Kill 5,343 vs Keep 5,271
