What happened on I -5 12/28/06 at approx 6;30pm S foot of grapevine?

approx 6 chp had big rig pulled over at base of grapevine just South of 99- looking everywhere and can't find any info. What happened? CHP blocked all South bound traffic.

Traffic was blocked due to snow and ice in the Grapevine, making it impossible to go over the Tejon Pass into the LA area.
