I have my menstrual dates right when my honeymoon is going to start. Is
there a way I can delay my periods so I can enjoy the honeymoon and not
worry about periods?

Don't take the placebo pills (sugar pills) at the end of your birth control pack - just go on to your next pack of birth control pills and you shouldn't have a period.

Fasting could help some women to skip a menstrual period. But I would NOT recommend it to you on your honeymoon though.

I would advice you not to go against the nature. There are some pills available which as long as you take you will not get period. But, you are playing with the harmonal secretions of your body. Do not go against the nature.

yea i would talk to the doctor first because its not just any type of pill thats safe with that. i'm on the pill right now and i took the pill for one week longer than i was supposed to and it messed up my period pretty bad and it was really painful so get the doctor's advice first!

From what I understand, it is safe to skip a period if you are on birth control, you just don't take the pill that are placebos. But you should ask your doctor first.

don't skip your placebo pillls!! never!!

call your doctor and talk to him/her about switching to a different birth control. I recommend Seasonale.. you only have 4 periods a year! But other than that, periods are just a fact of life, but i love Seasonale.

There are medicines available for post ponment of your cycles, So use them.
U may consult ur gynaecologist for better choice, and also ask him/her for the contraceptives u should/would use.
