Guys like thigh-highs though.

Too slutty. Wear a pair of low cut leather pants or something. but the thigh highs says TOO SLUTTY!

My tip: Put the socks on & strut in front of the mirror...
If you still feel like you need a second opinion after you've seen yourself... TAKE THE DAMN THINGS OFF AND BURN THEM!!

give it some boots or ugs and have the socks go higher than the boot... a more sophistacated look to a some what skanky outfit
