Do these movies change people or is it still the same as Maddy said, "They may cry and get out their checkbook but it doesn't change anything."

NO - It does not change anything, only experiences change people.!!!

Once you go through the same things that person has then you will be able to understand and really do something about. People feel sorry for movies like Blood Diamond and Across the Border, but they still continue to buy diamonds and live their lives as daily.

A little, but mainly it should help the canadian diamond market where there its the same cruelty as there is in the african diamond mining industry.

just like the drugs and oil it doesn't matter if it doesn't directly effect them. That's the American attitude.
